South African police have found a bloodied cricket bat at the home of track star Oscar Pistorius, who has been charged with murdering his model girlfriend, a newspaper reported Sunday.

The Olympic and Paralympic athlete was charged on Friday with the Valentine's Day murder of 29-year-old Reeva Steenkamp, who was shot dead at his luxury Pretoria home.

I understand that why want more posts and activity and MyGaming. Posting these stories help with that. However it also makes the genuine threads disappear from the front page in Off Topic which is kind of sucky.
 
And yet another Oscar Pistorius thread pops up.

When I voiced the same opinion a few of the regulars here shouted my down and told me "if you don't want to read it then don't and STFU." At the very least I feel MyGaming can make a separate forum for these 'news' (read: tabloid) articles so that it doesn't clog up the Off Topic section, but it doesn't seem like they really care.
 
The MyGaming forums are starting to feel like those sites that post a "top 10" article, and then they split it into 12 pages to get more ad views.
