Blu-Rays from Amazon.uk vs local

Maybe I'm missing something here, but how can it be, R376.10 to order and ship the Harry Potter series 1-6, on Blu-Ray to me in SA from the UK, when Harry Potter And Half Blood Prince is approx R300 alone locally?

I'm not overly complaining, but how does that work? Granted it's a special and all that, but even so, that's just insane.

Maybe we can have a thread started here similar in principle to the bargain fred? Or just incorporate them?

Edit was the dvd price and not blu ray price.

But yeah always also wondered why some prices are cheaper from the uk or usa than what we can get it locally.

Damit wait I think I took the dvd one and not blue ray disk

Haha, Blu-ray version is over R600. Big Difference. And 8-12 working days del time is acceptable considering the money you save. Big thing to remember though is to make sure they are SA region discs.

I'm waiting for my Terminator one and two blu-rays to arrive as well:

1 "Terminator 2 - Judgment Day (Skynet Edition) [Blu-ray] [1991]"
Total for this order: GBP 11.28
Payment Total: ZAR 134.62**

&

1 "Terminator 2 - Judgment Day (Skynet Edition) [Blu-ray] [1991]"

&

1 "The Terminator [Blu-ray] [1985] [US Import] [1984]"
Total for this order: GBP 12.54
Payment Total: ZAR 149.67**
