BMW M3 driver arrested for travelling at 219km/h

Members of the Johannesburg Metro Police Department were kept busy over the weekend by speedsters on the road.

At least 14 motorists were arrested N1 South for driving at excessive speeds.

"The highest was a 32-year-old man who was arrested in Midrand for travelling at 219km/h in a white BMW M3," JMPD spokesman Wayne Minnaar said on Sunday.

Hopefully he gets his licence suspended, a hefty fine and plenty of community service in the local morgue.
