Bobby Kotick: Professional trollface, smart business man, or merely arrogant

If anyone has ever needed a massive PK, then this doos does!

But, yes but, I can't entirely blame this schmuck, because we the consumer make it possible for him to get away with this crap. And yes, it is crap. Everyone moans and bitches about MW2, yet it's probably the most played online FPS. Those same people moan about paying $15 for maps, but they still do it. I really wish for just once, the entire planets' gamers, console and PC, would actually unite and use their power and influence as a collective and show publishers (Activision mostly) a fat toffee and boycott their next massive release. Try selling me some shit then again!

The problem is that the target market is people who have never played any of the earlier games and just don't care. Basicly the casual market who doesn't pay attention to gaming news, buys a game and plays it for a few days and goes back to doing thier regular habbies than goes and buys a new game in 2 weeks time. All this while the true gamers are shafted.

But yes, anyone who continues to support these people despite knowing how they do business, are just as big a bunch of assholes.

We can call him what we want it won't change the fact that he is smiling all the way to the bank.

Kotick did tilt a nod to Facebook, saying that the platform is probably their only online competitor, presumably due the scale of their user base.

I loled, taking into consideration that Facebook by profession is not a gaming "caterer" they just supply a number of popular games to the public as free apps to an entent. So I find it quite humorous when it was said that he finds them as competition. :p

Bobby!

Bobby seems to have been dropped on his head by his mother when he was little... several times!

Blizzard has perfected the art of milking gamers for their money and now with Activision in the mix as well, I see the Dark Ages of gaming ahead of us.

I also read on another forum that Activision have increased the price of their Call of Duty games, from $56 to $90 per game...
