Borderlands 2 isn't "wimpy", boasts 60 hours of gameplay

So you could almost say Borderlands 2 will contain full frontal RPG, totally uncensored lootgasms and hardcore face shooting?

I hope they can keep it feeling fresh for that entire 60 Hours. No 1 got a bit tedious towards the end & all the loot whoring in the world wont convince me to keep going if it gets boring.

I thought it got too easy as the enemy ai wasn't at the right level for people who played and levelled up and finished it around level 40+. I think that is one of the things they are wanting to fix with the 2nd iteration.

That and the story took a wild turn towards non-existence close to the end which, IMHO, always sucks.

I like to think of the end of Borderlands 1 as when you kill General Knoxx, it just seems more appropriate and fun. :)

Well there wasn't much of a story to begin with. I found Borderlands to be the best game with as little story as possible. Very anti D&D type games lol.
It almost could have been a game where there are just side missions, choose a character and go find the "thing" at a place which will be mentioned later after killing big scary thing protecting it.

No Story = No Deal for me. Plus it didn't have to be story heavy, just have something resembling a plot.

Still nothing compared to ffvii

As long as they keeping adding fresh new gameplay scenarios to keep things from getting stale then I'm fine with a 60 hour campaign.

Agreed. Borderlands was a lot of fun in co-op so even a lack of story wasn't enough to get me bored of it.

I actually never played it in co op mode.

//On a different note seeing your avatar, my gf bought me season 1 of Game of Thrones :) for my bday in a couple weeks.
