Borderlands 2 PC Discussion thread

Checkpointing in this game, is set WAAAY too far apart from one another.
And given that it's TVHM... Even more so. Have to run across the entire part of a (mission-based part) of the map to get to the next part of the quest... Otherwise, I'll have to fight my way there, and that's another HOUR that could be spent catching up on gameplay and story.

Edit: Just tried that shit. Didn't work. Have to fight my way to Lilith now! GD it!:mad:

Played for about an hour and a half with Gaige and I have to say that Deathtrap is one awesome little toy. Definitely going to be focusing most of my Borderlands playing on this character for now.
 
Does anyone know if the DLC is available to download yet? I can see it in the steam store and it says I own it (bought season pass), but there is no download option and I can't see anything in-game.

mine downloaded without me being close to pc. Check that it didn't do the same. If you start the game, and the mini-pop-playbutton has a pirate in it, it is downloaded

Mine did actually show the pirate in the launcher when I posted this last night, but it still wasn't downloaded. I passed out on the couch a little while after posting and when I woke up at 10 it was done downloading by itself. Played untill about 1:00, it's fucking awesome.

My recommendation would be using one on lvl 30, before reaching the end of the first playthrough and then using another (or both) when you get to Sanctuary for the second playthrough. That should give you a good weapon for the end game as well as something decent to use in the beginning of your second playthrough, worked very well for me on both PC and PS3.

I used my golden keys, round about level 40. I didn't get good/level applicable weapons from about 35 - 40. Used a key, and it made the game so much more enjoyable.

Hold thumbs when you open the chest, it sometimes has crappy items.
 
I used all 3 at lvl30,got crappy items (sorta)

1st:A lunch box thing for the mecromancer and a ruin that gives 30%resistance to normal damage and 20% resistance to corrosion and fire.

2nd:I got a rocket launcher that does 10000dmg

3rd:I got a shield that has a 6000 capacity but takes away 800health and a grenade mod that teleports to a target location then rains down corrosion and fires bullets.


I wanted a sniper rifle,Shotgun or Rifle.

I still have a explosive shotgun that i got at lvl25 in the slaughter house that does 200x16dmg
