Borderlands - level cap raised to 69 with new patch

Well my highest level character is 40 odd so that cap increase is still so far off. Nice to have though.
 
Nice. I'm currently busy with Secret Armoury of General Knoxx, but I kinda stopped when I realised that I don't earn experience anymore (at level 61). I know the game shouldn't be just about levelling up, but a higher character level means higher level loot. :p Busy with another character now, will probably wait for this patch before finishing General Knoxx although the 4th DLC comes out with the patch? Might have to finish General Knoxx without levelling up then ...
 
Have you tried playing the DLC on second playthrough with your character a few levels below the enemies? Now that was a challenge, especially Secret Armoury of General Knoxx.
 
Did not get the DLC because by the time it came out I was plain gatvol/overplayed of/the game.

yeah the few levels below helps now and again.
 
Dude, do you yourself a favour and get General Knoxx, it is by far the best of the 3 currently available DLC's and definitely worth whatever it's going for. Also got bored with the game really quick after it came out and then traded it in. Bought it again a little while back and haven't stopped playing it since. General Knoxx is the ultimate DLC for awesome loot.
 
I just didn't like the endless traversing up and down the highways as it got a bit repetitive, but apart from that I agree it is the best one out there!
 
It's by far the best co-op game I've played. RPG + GUNS + CO-OP = WIN. :D

And I agree about the General Knoxx DLC, it really added a lot to the game, it's a must play if you enjoyed the initial campaign.
