Borderlands PC co-op matchmaking

hey guys, i have 2 of u as friends at the moment, but when i go to friends list it says ur online and playing, but it also says "Joinable: No"

What does this mean? and how do I join your guys games?

but i went to friends list and i saw u there, but then i couldn't join game with u :(

maybe its cos ur game was full? was it lol
 
I was in a single player game, so I need to invite you to the game before you can join. Add us on Steam, then you can IM us for a game invite.
 
Had an entire weekend of Borderlands PC CO-OP with 2 Buddies. 1 word and 1 word only.

Addictive :|

This game is UBER addictive. We didn't even play COD4 or CODWAW, it was Borderlands all the way. Well Inbetween the drinking, we finished around 5 bottles klippies and 1 Richleau.

Started Saterday morning, finished Around 5 PM today and reached level 26 each.

It's by FAR the best game of 2009 sofar for me. Could be because of the CO OP aspect and having buddies with you to shout at among other things, but It's really really awesome.

I thought the game would integrate into steam, using steam account details and steam updating etc etc.....

+1:) Thats why I did an 8 hour session straight and that was alone....I think when I finally get to playing co-op I'll prob starve:p

If that is the case then I think I've found next game I'm gonna purchase. I'm also a big fan of COD4 and COD:WAW, but I'm getting a bit tired of it, I seriously need to get this game now. It seems as though its the CO OP feature that truly makes this game epic?

Dunno....I think it's awesome on SP as well :p
 
I have never played it SP, well Im going to play a bit of SP now until about 12:30.

My friends were allready at my workplace just before closing time on Friday with their freshly bought copies, we drove home, setup the pc's and immediately started playing it co op.

The ONLY downside is, I have that random General Protection bug, while they don't :(

If you read the patch notes, it's a recognised problem, but has not been fixed yet. Sometimes I bomb out Directly after the intro screens, sometimes 3-4 hours into the game. Weird thing is Didn't have a SINGLE crash the entire saterday, it only started today :/

Random bugs are random.

@Sockmonkey. Look you know how I feel about COD. Borderlands is What you need when you getting a bit bored, sofar on PC there is nothing to touch the CO OP multiplayer aspect. Well to me anyways.

Well see you guyz in a bit, gonna try Level 26 SP.
 
Coop is a blast, but single player is cool because it's more immersive like Fallout. Ending was a dud though.
 
Game definatly shines in co-op.

Its tries to do what Hellgate failed at, a Diablo shooter. Diablo games while fun in SP, are at their best in co-op.
 
Back after a little bit of SP.

Got an awesome SMG now, well for the level I am at it's lekker.

48 Damage
2x Explosive damage
48% Fire rate increase
2.4x scoped Zoom.

Damn those beasties fall like flies.... hehehe.

Off to bed now, enjoy peeps
 
Killing and looting in this game is fun, but pretty much everything makes no sense. If only they made this game as interesting as D2.

From a story and... logical... point of view, yes, it doesn't shine in those departments.

I think its strong co-op, solid shooting and carrot on stick level and loot gameplay make for a very addictive and fun game though.
 
I find the game at times difficult, going up against badass lvl 15 raiders in some safehouse is hectic when you are only lvl 13 =/

Wanted to ask I took a bruiser, what are the other classes activated abilities?
