Played and finished both games.
Each has its own "something I like".
Borderlands 2 is, IMO, an improvement over its predecessor. Interesting and very fun side-quests, clever and funny dialogue, very good story (keeping you engaged in gameplay for hours). A healthy dosage of a huge variety of weapons, albeit some only slightly better than others, making swapping out a current weapon for a not-so seemingly better weapon, not a difficult choice. I like the interface. A 3-D over a previously 2-D look. Character customisation is a nice addition, even if only being the head and outfits' pre-decided colour coordination.
