I couldn't find a thread with the search function so I decided to make one.

Who else is excited for this? I cannot freaking wait anymore, gonna be playing this for at least a couple hundred hours. Being able to play as Claptrap and then also
Spoiler: show
Handsome Jack
in a DLC is going to be a kick-ass time. :D

Check out this awesome introduction to the game by Sir Hammerlock and Torgue:

I'm pretty keen for this game, I know I'll get my moneys worth, plus its great fun (weirdly Ive never finished any borderlands game.)

Saw this last night, I am not looking forward to this one tbh.

Different strokes for different folks I suppose. Playing Borderlands 2 was the most fun I've had with a game. Ever. I have the Vault Hunter logo tattooed on my left wrist and I will definitely be expanding that with some more Borderlands art at some point.

I will be buying this (with the Season Pass) on day one.

I could dig it, had a ton of fun in B2, however same release date as Evil Within and for me the choice is obvious...

Same for me. Had tons of fun with both games, played them for a bunch of hours, I finished the first Borderlands game (once), and never finished Borderlands 2. I feel bad for not finishing it :/

Wish I was still a student, I had so much time for playing games back then..le sigh

I'll get the game. I liked BL1, I absolutely adore BL2 (I still play it every now and then). It is my favourite FPS bar none. Even if the game is just a re-hash of what made BL2 great, it'll still be worth it for me.

Wlad, will you be getting it on a console or PC? Personally I'm going for PC.

I couldn't agree more.

Getting the PC version as well, will probably get the PS3 version as well at some point for the collection, but I want those PhysX. :p

I have to agree with you. I loved Borderlands 1 and completed it and all DLC (except Moxxi's dome-thingy), completed Borderlands 2 slightly begrudgingly and started with the DLC. To be honest, the game became WAY too much of a grind and the spawn points are too far apart to make the game fun. If they fix just that in the Pre-Sequel I would consider playing it.

Yeah look, I thoroughly enjoyed BL 1&2. But I don't really consider a game like this to be a single player experience and thus best played with friends. And I lost interest in BL2 when my friends played with their other friends (or SP) and progressed to levels far above me, then I lost interest because I couldn't do much to mobs in that regard.

Also, just the look and feel of this new BL doesn't appeal to me. Not to mention that it just looks like a re-skin of it's predecessors. I'm not not buying the whole laser and freeze your opponents selling point. I'm sure it will still be a load of fun, but I'm just over it.

While most people will definitely agree that it is not really a SP game, I am not most people. :p Of the 290 hours I have on Steam in Borderlands 2, about 280 of them was done on my own. The game might be designed for co-op, but I prefer playing it on my own. It means I can take my time exploring the world and looting EVERYTHING, also nobody is gonna try to steal my loot if I play by myself. The game is still fun in MP, and I've had some good times playing with friends, but SP is the best IMO. I'm also not bothered by the fact that it looks like a reskinned BL2, they could have given me the same characters from BL2 with just new loot and environments and I would still have bought it and played it for many hours.

Also, for those interested the interactive skill trees are live on the official website if you feel like planning your character ahead. Personally, I prefer picking my skills in the heat of the moment.

I'm exactly the opposite. I only played BL2 in coop, I find it quite boring solo. :/

Yeah, it's fun when you're stealing a friend's loot or vice versa, but not so much when you open your game to randoms and all they do is steal the loot. Since I had nobody to play co-op with on PC I always made my game public until I got sick of randoms just taking all the good loot. This time around I will just play SP from the beginning, unless one of friends get the game as well.

i loved BL 1 and 2, but had not really paid much attention to the "pre-sequel". but after watching this video...HOLY FEKBALLS!!! i will definitely be getting this on DAY1 :)

I'm not really amped for this installment. I will play it if I can acquire it or get it for a cheap price.

Today is the day!!! Just woke up and after getting some coffee into my system I will go get my copy and play all day long. :D
