Bought an Xbox 360 VGA HD AV cable, missing parts?

My brother in law bought one the other day and within the official packaging he found little connectors, which he used to connect his console to his PC monitor. So I bought one myself, over Bid or Buy but found that there are no connectors included. The person who sold me it, took the cable out of it's official packaging and stuck only the cable in a posting bag. I made sure it's an official Xbox 360 version, not a cheapy btw. Reason for my doubt is that it looks slightly different than my bro in law's, the vga plugs.

I'm trying to figure out if I should have gotten the little connectors with, or not. Any advice before I phone him and lose my temper please?

Yes all official 360 VGA's come with a gender bender

You got screwed. Still, you can get one of those gender benders (epic term, Caboose ) from any PC supply store. Shouldn't cost you more than a couple of bucks.
