I saw a brief article on RPS about a new game that will be coming to early access. It looks like a combination of Railroad Tycoon (except focused on one train) and FTL. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one, it could be quite fun.

 
The game is now out on early access. Got a hands on impression from RPS - not all that positive although the reviewer does note that this is the starting point with the game going to be in development for at least a year until full release. Definitely best to wait and see how the game turns out before taking the plunge.

I'm not jumping on it just yet but i hope it gets better. It's a really good idea and if it makes it to real release I'll probably pick it up
