Brink Does The Unthinkable, Moves Up A Week

Upcoming shooter Brink isn't delayed. Just the opposite. The team-based shooter that's designed to make amateurs feel like pros will now be coming out a week earlier than planned, on May 10 in North America (instead of the 17) and on the 13th in Europe (not the 20th), according to publisher Bethesda Softworks.

wow... to think with all the delays around this is so cool :D

this i think will be one of the must have shooters of 2011
 
makes me worried that we will be receiveing a less than polished game and its jsut another publisher trying to squeeze in some quick cash

Have you seen the gameplay trailers? I've been keeping my eye on this one's development. Looking really good, can't wait!!

Bethesda reveals System Specs and and Steamworks.

With the inclusion of Steamworks, players will have the following features:

· Steam Achievements

· VOIP

· Challenge Leaderboards

· Valve Anti Cheat

· Dedicated Servers

· Friends Support (including invites and joining session in progress)

· Steam Cloud (for save data)

In regards to the system requirements, these are as follows for Brink:

Yeah, I'm actually loving the gameplay vids. I was scouring the interwebs for more, but there are only a few out there. But the ones that are up looks amazing! Can't wait for this game, damn!

I watched the latest one and thought it just kind of looked like a newer version of team fortress. I enjoyed it team fortress, but for only so long and became bored. From all the hype around this game I was expecting to be blown away from the gameplay vids, and after i just kind thought it looks kind of cool but not amazing. i was expecting much more mirrors edge like movement. But since i seem to be the only one, going to watch some more this evening and see what i'm missing :P.
