I hear the sp is sucky and it's actually just mp game. sp Supposedly is mp-offline.

That is fine if the MP is super fun and there are actually people playing it, which is the main reason I didn't pre-order. I wanted to see if there will actually be a community to play with.
 
Guess if the community takes to it, then it could be great. Otherwise it will just sit on the shelf collecting dust :( Like my Enemy Territory: Quake Wars!

got myself the CE of ET:QW just to play it for about a week and then no-one cont. with it...
 
I have been hearing rather unsatisfactory reports on the game. Saw that IGN had rated it a meager 6/10. Other than that just heard generally that the game is buggy with stupid bots.

Although I have been rather interested in the classes and movement system.

Still, I might get this. lets see if anyone else buys it

In the same boat, checking through local steam groups last night i def saw sa peeps playing it, hopefully by monday we'll get their impressions

it looks pretty cool, but ye, waiting to see what the mp community is like first before buy it.
Got to many mp steam games that sit there untouched.

Is there a demo out on steam?
 
I played this 'till about 4 or 5 o'clock this morning! I literally just woke up. I was playing online 'till about 1 o'clock, signed off and decided to go to bed. I couldn't sleep so I got back up, started up the PS3 again and just couldn't stop playing. The biggest flaw with this game is that there is no lobby system so it's not all that easy getting into MP games. In the couple of hours I was playing online I only managed to get into two games with other people and in each of these games it was only me and one other guy with the rest of the spots filled by bots.

I am really enjoying the game a lot. The guns are awesome to shoot and the customisation and SMART system are awesome as well. The AI can make things really though at times and it can get quite frustrating, but it's not that bad. If Splash Damage can somehow patch a lobby system into the game, fix the AI issues and add more maps this game would become truly awesome. As it is right now I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone looking for a SP game, there is absolutely no story besides from the cutscenes at the start and end of every mission; it's basically MP game modes with cutscenes. This game is also not really for CoD generation as it much more geared towards teamplay, if you try to go lone wolf you'll get put down fast. I think it would be awesome if it was easier to get into matches filled with human players only, but so far I haven't had any such luck.
 
My initial impressions are not great, played a bit of co op with Omega last night.

Its ok. Need to give it more time to get a true reflection of the game.
 
Been hearing mixed things about it, wanted to go and pick it up but now a little bit hesitant :S Anyone been playing/enjoying it?
 
Have to admit i was expecting this game to rock.Klippe.
Looks sexy, customization options seems limitless (weapon wise), yet, not impressed.
Single player campaign missions suffer from bot retardation and i have been experiencing lag and visual issues in mp.

Quite sad really, but still early days - couple of patches and who knows ?
