OK So everyone knows what Brink is by now, I have a question though, the Parkour dynamic, is that going to be worth using though, I don't really see anyone jumping nimbly bimbly form branch to branch while shooting and everyone knows that Bunny Hopping should be outlawed or at least penalized by...instant....death.
 
I think that the new features that they are bringing into brink will be a hit because it's unique in it's own way. I'm pretty sure it's going to be good!
 
Well I enjoyed Mirror's Edge - missed proper guns though - so this ought to be interesting. Ough to. Mild gut feeling :)
Definately won't be pre-ordering/buying this 1st day.

In the countless videos I've watched trying to place this game, I saw some footage that looked a lot like Team Fortress. And that got me very excited. If this game is anything like TF2 but with more guns, I'm definitely keen, but my gut is just telling me the whole time that I will be disappointed.

Maybe it's just because I have BF3 fever and nothing in my mind can beat that for me to thus far. Just maybe it's that. I'm hoping it is and I really hope this game will be what I think it will. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

im starting to believe the reviewers more and more

for instance Homefront got poor reviews but i got it anyway...

Yet black ops scores highly when its so buggy, i can bet people are getting pay-offs when rating....its a huge allegation but its not insane to think so...
 
Well Brink has been doing worse than Homefront in regards to overall and average scores

That's why you have to read these little obscure review on the interwebz. Those are the guys that are being honest, unlike the big sites like Gamespot etc. They just rate all the awaited games an 8 or 9 and there ya go. No honest review.

from the brink gameplay, its not my kind of game...

i must be honest tho, i think im suffering what Rambo is suffering with BF3, althought i am concerned about MW3 and BF3 being released very close to eachother, not that i cant afford it but rather the "spoilt for choice" dilema, i know Rambo has his mind made up clearly but me...not so much, i do think im gonna get more out of BF3 tho :D

Still i did enjoy COD, still jam MW2 but my belief in COD was "shot" with black ops, shocking.....hwoever 3ARC are a bunch of nuts really, i wont consider them again....

Wow is all I can say..Wow as in extreme disappointment. I just watched and read a few reviews and I have to say..this game looks awful..Not at all what I expected..However I did see it coming..So not worth my money. I'm taking a big fat skip on this one.

but gameplay is alos important, fact is, if it doesnt look good, subject to ur "IMO" then quite fankly it wont be good

Some of the reviews I read were quite honest, actually. Flawed gameplay is something I can't and won't put myself through. Punishing players for not playing it the way the game developers thought you have to play it? Hell no.

If I want to play as a certain class and stick with it, why the hell can't I? I'm also getting tired of games where you get points for breathing, jumping and looking around. Seriously..

This game had a lot of potential on paper, but it seems that they kinda screwed it up and didn't make it half as cool as it promised to be. I'd still rate TF2 would be way more fun to play than this game.

I think this game is more multiplayer driven from what i can tell. Aparently the AI is S*** so that means singleplayer will suck but from a MP point of view i still think from what i have read it brings something different. In this review they say its a mix of Team Fortress 2 and Kill Zone 3. I dunno i think i might still check it out for the MP side of things. Very ampt for BF3 though.

 
This game had potential. It's MP based, the SP is almost non-existant, as it's a tacked on story, with repetitive team-based play throughout every level.

Performance-wise, the game feels a bit off - input lag or something. Like the art-style, sound and ideas, but unfortunately, this is feels too much like a TF2 clone, without the polish Valve is renowned for. I won't recommend it.
 
I played this (on PS3) 'till 5 o'clock this morning and I'm loving it. The AI is utterly crap making things very frustrating, but when you pllay with real people who play as a team it's a lot of fun. Guns are awesome, SMART system rules and gameplay is fantastic.
