They would not lie about something like that. They are selling it at cost price or close to it. They also have too much stock, the XB1 is not selling so a lot of places are trying to move stock by making it super cheap. (I would know I worked for BTgames).

It's really not worth it in my opinion, not if you have a half decent PC.

But seriously, this is a terrific price and anyone should get it if they ever wanted or thought about getting an Xbox One. You will probably not see this price for the console in the next few months, even years.

Sure, if you want to throw your money away. How many good games do you currently own on Xbox One that are not available on other platforms? If you have more than 4 I'll be extremely surprised, because I couldn't find a single one that I was interested in.

But I totally get your point. Different strokes for different folks. I am well aware of my peasant status as console gamer. I am just that type of gamer that likes consoles better, which is why I still think that the Xbox One I bought was the best buy I've done in a very very long time.
And if anyone is anything like me and is looking for a console, there is no reason not to really look at this special and seriously consider it.
