BTGames worst service ever with Black Ops 2..

Allright i am officialy never buying from BTgames again.. Bought the game online had proof and all get at Tygervalley BTgames show them everything and they could not find the payment on their system and could not give the game untill it's shown on the system which they claimed will only be tommorrow morning.

Here is the BS part even told them i'll give R500 cash now to get the game and just take it back tommorrow as the payment will reflect on their account tommorrow and they just came up with alot of BS.

I now wanna get a refund and go elsewhere, retarded service seen at the best.

EDIT: Best part is the guy even had a attitude telling me i should have rather not used the online system and pay cash.. why do they offer online payments then if it have problems?

Yeah after recommending them for blops because of the price, I now feel like an idiot..I should have known they would fuck up something...Like they always do.
 
I really haven't had A bad experience from them, I mostly buy from the cape gate on as its A brick throw from my house :)

I went with your word tbh to buy the game for the pre-order prize everything went smooth and they deducted it from my credit card as i got the sms from the bank.. And BTgames just claimed they can't pick it up, was there just after 5PM, i am now super pissed and need to wait untill tommorrow..

If i knew that i would have rather paid cash.

As is always the case with these BT Games threads, the moral of the story is, "Don't buy from them. Ever. EVER."
 
Agreed. Simply stay away from BTGames, unless you're buying an already released game in-store. They have never NOT botched one of my online orders/pre-orders.
 
I don't even go to their shops anymore, always get attitude from the staff, like they think they're better than you and you're not worthy of their time.

I met the owner at a MTG event month or 2 ago, what an ASS! Luckily I didn't have to play him
 
I don't know, online payments normally are an issue everywhere. In South Africa's over regulated banking system, a simple EFT gets bundled with the days transactions, balance between banks to see who owes who and then needs to pass through the reserve bank and only after all this does the transaction reflect in the 2nd account.
When did you send the payment through?
 
tbh.. if i see that guy outside BTGames.. that guy from Tygervalley think he is "cooler as ekke" he even raised his voice with me basicly telling me GTFO and come back tommorrow.

The other oak wanted to hand me the game.. and he told him NO!
 
They are still the best at marking down older games so outside pre-order/online issues they are very good in terms of retail. I usually use them because i can trade my older games in for credit yet they really are stingy with giving credit ie. Darkness 2 three weeks after release they gave me 50 rand for it:eek:)
 
BT Games have gone really dodgey with trade ins now. they are giving a lot less for newer games on trade ins.

I havnt really had much bad experience with the one at Pavillion in KZN, but the BT Website is a shambling mess. I ordered 2 copies of Halo 4 CE online, when i went in they had 8 Standard and 6 Limited Edition registered to me when i went into the store?

But Hellopeter them Shirou. It makes a difference

Another person asked me on Mybroadband as well and yea it is that guy, don't even get me started with him.

And i'll do a Hellopeter report as well but that list is so long allready not sure if my input would even count :P
 
in Cresta mall in JHB a lot of people got so upset with the BT guys that they walked across the hall to IC and TOp CD to buy Blops 2.

1 GUy moaned that when he told the guy he pre ordered 2 copies. 1 for him and 1 for his wife. the BT guy told him that Then they have to learn to share laughed and walked off? IF that oke did that to me id have decked him .. IF he was so lucky that my GF didn't do it first,
 
When they screwed me over with my Most Wanted pre-order, I decided I'd buy it retail but not from their store:rolleyes:. Before that, I remember going to buy FIFA 13 for pc from them, I asked the guy how much it was and he said R540, and I asked him why it was that much when their website clearly says R345, he was like, "come on man, everyone knows our web prices are usually different from our in-store prices, you really should've just ordered on the website if you wanted that price". I was like, really:wtf:? Bought the game at Incredible for R340.
