I haven't even used the Thumper that much, dammit. I have to start using it.

I hate that you have to buy charges for it in SP, in Echo you just recharge it at a drop pod.

Definately, once you start using/remember to use it a whole new world opens up for you.

That's something that I like about the game though, something they really nailed. The balancing of the skill points. I guess the reason I didn't buy the thumper upgrades was because I'm too busy unlocking stuff for the other weapons and buying flares and explosive flails, lol, and you don't get an overboard amount of SP like "Omg omg, SP! Let's buy everything and unlock everything in the end and make everything pointless!" You gotta play the game through at least twice to experience everything.

As did some of the other weapons (the sniper rifle) when I started my 2nd game. I'm still surprised at how much better this game was than I expected. I knew it was going to be cool, but not this cool

The Penetrator is one of the coolest weapons in any game, ever. Love using the Thumper and then shooting enemies into each other with the Penetrator's charged shot. It works especially well with the mini-bosses.
