Bully- the elusive one

So when I first got steam I picked out a number of titles I want to get on their sales. Over the months that list has grown somewhat and I've managed to get all of it, but there is one title that eludes me. You know like Nicholas cage's 1967 Mustang in gone in 60 seconds. my Eleanor.

I am of course referring to Bully. (the title gave that away didn't it.). I've been waiting on that for months now. I want it, but not enough to pay 140 bucks, or even the 70 on the usual 50% off sales.

So the beginning of the year, after months and months of lying in wait, steam has a Rockstar weekend with one title on 75% off every day. Friday was LA Noir, Im rubbing my hands. Sat is Max payne, Sun GTA. There is nothing left on their catalogue but Bully, monday comes and.... GTA again.
I swear, kick a few things and curse my luck.

A few months later Greenman Gaming has bully- 75% off. I whoop, I shout, I click on the link and.... you can only buy this with Manhunt. and manhunt isn't available in your region.

Yesterday I'm browsing Amazon and notice they are having a massive game sale. I look up bully and its only 50% off. I go on again tonight and there it is, in all its glory- 75% off! I click buy, enter my credit card details, my address, my heart is pounding. I click to finalise- sorry digital games are currently only available in the USA.
uuuurgh.

But I'm telling you, it's no longer even about the game any more- I'm frikin Elmer fudd and I am going to get me that rabbit. Watch this space chaps because it's coming, its coming.

Good luck with your quest, but what will you do when it's over? You'll be an empty shell of a man. :(

Bully is an awesome game though, very underrated in my opinion.

I feel ya. been looking for it for ages as well.

If I find it at a good price somewhere you'll be the first one I notify ;)

Yeah it looks like a lot of fun. I've just heard the PC version is a little buggy.

Thanks man, I'll return the favor... Sooner rather than later we hope.
 
I've played it on my PS2, still have some naughty memories...it's fun to say the least.

If you can't get the game because it's region restricted, then I say fukkit just pirate it. If they put those restrictions in place then it's their fault that you don't get it the legal way.

Agreed. If it makes you feel bad donate the money you would have spent on it to charity or something :p
 
I still have it on PS2. A total classic and underrated for sure. Never ever makes a top ten list if Im not mistaken.
 
oh dos my eyes decieve me. can it really be true. im too afraid to click the link in case it be a trick of the light. the child has returned. tis a good day my friends a good day indeed for my quest is complete. all hail eugene. i almost did miss this lol. been on holiday and my phone stopped working. I would have cried.
