Bundles, Bundles everywhere!

Personally, owning a lot of those games on Steam, I wouldn't buy them. Dark Forces and The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition barely work. Most of them are good games, but because of their age, a lot of them also don't run in HD resolutions and have other problems running on modern systems.

The newly added GOG versions are much better. There's always a chance that the Steam versions will be updated, but I still wouldn't spend the money. Just my 2c.

Hmmm R142 I'll take the lot

Thank you very much...

And to think I was this close to getting KOTOR and Empire at war during last Steam sale.

Edit: I hope they add The Lego one later, but I have a feeling we gonna get Clone Wars crap instead.

yeah I even had one or two of these on my watchlist. I think I would have bought some too if I hadn't already over shot my budget

My payment clicky finger itches for that bundle. Only because of Force unleashed 1 & 2. I have the rest on some SW collection dvd set.

Humble Starwars bundle- sweeeet

Star Warsâ„¢ Jedi Knightâ„¢: Jedi Academyâ„¢
Star Wars: Dark Forces

Star Wars Battlefront II
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
Star Wars Republic Commando

Star Wars Empire At War: Gold Pack
Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

Was going to get it, but then I remembered I actually don't like StarWars, so I'll rather skip it.

I grabbed it almost without thought. When I saw both the Force Unleashed games and Empire at War, I was sold.

I'm so tempted to get that StarWars bundle...I've never played any StarWars games... I'm afraid I might be disappointed...

I'm having second thoughts about getting the Star Wars bundle. Most of the games seem crap, though I only played Dark Forces II back in the day. I'm also concerned that most of these games were a "play-in-the-generation" kind of deal and they aged horribly.

I also decided to not get the bundle. I've already played KOTOR 1 and 2. They are brilliant by the way but this was ages ago. And I own the first Force Unleashed.

You gonna need Flawless Widescreen for KOTOR and XL Engine for Dark Forces

XL Engine doesn't work, it CTD for me when I tried it last year. The guy never finished it, I'm pretty sure he gave up and abandoned it...

I'd say you're making the right choice. Same goes for @Solitude and @FriedPet. It's not that the games haven't aged well (in fact many of those games are still very playable from a gameplay perspective), but the majority of those titles were dumped on Steam with very little TLC given to them, which means that to get a lot of them working you have to mess with them.

Have a look at the Steam forums for those games. Unfortunately, Steam isn't like GOG, in the fact that they actually don't give a damn if the games they sell you are playable. The GOG versions work fine, I own a lot of them, because GOG have taken the time and effort to get them working on modern systems. This would be an amazing bundle if they were giving you the GOG versions, but unfortunately they're not. The amount of wasted time I've spent trying to get the Steam versions working properly just isn't worth it IMO.

Some people may enjoy tinkering with them, however I don't. When I sit down to play a game, I don't want to spend the majority of it troubleshooting. If I buy a product, it should work out of the box.
