Back when I first got my first gaming console (Ps3) in 2007, I decided to get the orange box from valve which I thought was a bargain for its price, since it was 5 games in 1. I'd had never heard of half-life or any other Valve related game before. At the time I didn't try half-life 2 because I thought it would be a typical horror game (Which I hate). So I decided to first try out portal, since puzzle games were always fun and interesting to play.
So after finishing portal a few times, which I've never enjoyed so much, I decided to try out Team fortress 2. Unfortunately it did not want to work as it needed internet at the time (Which I didn’t have). So eventually I built up the courage to play Half-life 2 and boy have I never looked back. I was having so much fun that I thought I should actually get it the orange box for PC, since I prefer FPS games with a mouse rather than a keyboard. It was a good decision as from there I got into online TF2 and into the whole half-life franchise.
