Have you guys every bought games based off of what you saw in a Let's Play video?

Personally I almost never watch Let's Play videos, however a friend of mine was asking me about Let's Play and if I watch them, because he enjoys watching them and he has bought a few games because he watched Let's Plays. So he suggested I check out some Let's Plays.
I think I have only watched Let's Plays when I was stuck in 1 or 2 games and couldn't progress, so I checked a video online.

Also, was the Let's Play all you needed to see about the game to make a purchase decision, or did you do some prior research and the Let's Play was the nail in the coffin? Or perhaps you learned about a new game by seeing a Let's Play and in the end you bought it.

Which channels do you follow?

I decided to buy Speedrunners after watching a hilarious video of 4 streamers playing against each other - and it was totally worth getting.

Watching a video of two people playing Battleblock Theatre also helped convince me to get the game during a Steam sale. I had noticed that the game was quite popular so I watched the vid to check it out.

If I recall correctly both videos involved PewDiePie - I really shouldn't find him entertaining but he does have his funny moments.

I've wanted to buy:

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (theRadBrad)
The Evil Within (and still do) (Markiplier)(My first LP of him)

Have bought:

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (TetraNinja)
Sleeping Dogs (TetraNinja)

Let's Play Channels:

theRadBrad
TetraNinja
jacksepticeye
Markiplier
GhostRobo

I've started watching lets play vids before I purchase. I generally don't pay much attention to what they are saying and just watch the gameplay. Don't watch anyone in particular, google "lets play [Gamename]".
