Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare official thread

Trying to find a game to play on the PC version is quite tricky at the moment.

Takes quite a while, everyone else experiencing the same? :/

No idea bud, as far as I know there are dedicated servers but I am not sure how it works.
I'll only get to play tonight.

PC platform. Got to 3 again, then my game just crashed. Tamper detected or something...

This is fun :-/


EDIT: Now the CoD: AW service is not available when I try go to Play Online. Sigh.

EDIT 2: YAY! Finally managed to play a single map! Although PC wanted more memory - got 8GB RAM and my page file was set to 2GB, so increased it to 4GB and it then played fine. ^^

So to any of the guys that pre ordered and had the game delivered via courier. Do yourself a favor before installing and make sure none of your disks are scratched. I received mine a little while ago, the 1st disc took 10min to read which I thought was strange, 2nd disc worked perfectly but 3rd disc will not read, took it out and noticed it was scratched in a circular way, checked disc 4 and 5 and both of them look the same. The game comes in a single dvd disc case with 6 discs stacked on top of each other with no protection stopping the discs from turning or moving up and down slightly. So you can imagine if the package gets thrown around or moved around a lot this discs will scratch against each other. Piss poor packaging on the part of Activision.

Multiplayer is pretty damn awesome!! Busy reeling in all those xp points. Tomorrow I will start with single player
 
Played a bit of PS4 today after work, played on PS4 btw.

It's not Ghosts - that game was a crock of shite.
Got a BO1/MW3 vibe to it.
Guns kill in 3-4 shots in non Hardcore.
It's feels very very responsive and the maps are much bigger.
Voice acting and story is phenomenal, Stacey nailed his role so well.

Would I get it? No I am not a huge COD fan anymore, If it was a bit cheaper I probably would get it on PC or perhaps PS4.
Should anyone else get it? if you a COD fan, Yes. It's a breath of fresh air and a move into the right direction. Newcomers to the series as well will fit right in as well a bit of a tiny learning curve with the exoskeleton but you will get it nailed in a round or 2.

From what I played I think it deserves it's 8/10 it's nothing really groundbreaking but Sledgehammer games worked really hard on this title, It's probably the first fun COD I have played since MW2, MP Wise.
