Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare official thread

Aw man, downloading 2gb update still. And Steam is going slowly, probably because of everybody else downloading the same content
 
Is anyone playing this on a Telkom Mobile connection? If so, how is the multiplayer on your connection? I tried BF4 on a Telkom Mobile connection and it was basically unplayable. I didn't ever have that issue with BF3 on the same connection. I've been looking for a good shooter and was considering trying this out.

I use a mobile Afrihost connection and I play Bf4 on Ps4 the key is to use a program called HSPA locker it locks your signal to HSPA.Hope this helps you out.
 
Kalahari has my expected delivery date for 10 november ffs ordered on friday but I am situated in a "rural area" but takealot alwats delivers on release day or day before
 
I'm loving it so far, got in about an hour of gameplay.

The exo suit really opens up new avenues of combat (boost slam etc).
 
So I haven't played many shooters on console, seeing as I'm mainly a PC gamer. I do the odd bit of XBox, but nothing hardcore.

I was able to manage fine running and gunning with a controller, but when it comes to aiming upwards or downwards my thumbs would get extra dumb. I'm sure this is just a practice thing, and with time I'd manage. But I imagine with Advanced Warfare's high level of jumping and constant up and down aiming those thumbs must be working overtime? I can't see how I would manage it, at all..

Any console gamers input? I'm curious, is Advanced Warfare's controlling more difficult due to this, or does it not factor in at all?

Where are our dedicated servers?

There is noticeable lag in almost every game I've managed to play...with the host winning by miles and the guys with slightly worse connections sitting at the bottom thanx to p2p.

There is a storm brewing over this on reddit and a couple of other forums.

I have to say they have turned out one of the best action fps games in years, but they lied...again...Quite disappointed about this :(

They still havent released when the servers will be available :
"We’ve got some announcements coming. Yes, we will be supporting dedicated servers and there will be announcements soon on which providers and platforms. I can’t answer just yet, but you can let your community know that it’s coming,”

That was before the actual launch, since then nothing has been said about this.
 
Still waiting for delivery but this is enough for me to cancel my order and just stick to playing either BF4 or CS:GO
 
I hope this issue will be sorted out soon (in the next few months before I'm able to buy the game).
 
I've been having some rubberbanding, which is very frustrating.

Also, watching killcams where I stand around like an idiot not firing a single shot (while I half emptied my clip into a guy), is getting old real fast.

Guess I'll play the campaign first
 
They talked the same server talk last year and nothing.I am holding of on purchasing I am waiting for more Ps4 peeps to buy it so there are enough locals because it is p2p and it is not gonna change.
