Call of Duty Elite premium full feature list

It depends on the R400..Would that be per month/per year/once off.
Its not really all that bad considering what map pack dlc's cost, and seeing as
• 20 pieces of DLC released over nine months
is inc in that R400 it might be worth it in the long run.

Thats R400 per year as far as I'm aware of, but still they're just milking the cash cow there and going overboard now...

Yeah then its a waste, considering there will probably be a new cod at the end of 2012.
Then again, if its just R400 for that period then I would do it.

So....

There will most definitely be at least the equivalent of 4 major DLC packs (within the "20 pieces of DLC released over nine months"), like with Blops, which = 4 x $15 = $60 ~ R425
So paying R400 for Elite Premium is cheaper, just in this regard, but you also get the other features mentioned. But, if you don't care about those then you're still gonna save some money by paying for Elite Premium.

And, if standard edition MW3 (PC) ends up costing R450 (which would be a miracle) and hardened edition of MW3 costs something around R800 (which i find plausible), then, buying the hardened edition works out to be the cheapest option (as you get a year Elite Premium subscription with it), and, you get all the other extras of the hardened edition.

Just my 2c. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Battlefield 3 "whistling:

/*Start running away from COD fanboys throwing their Elite features at him*/

With the features it's more aimed at people that is in a clan. For that reason it looks great at R400 a year but still will not get this there are more than enough games that will be keeping me busy(BF3) and I'm so tired of seeing COD games.

My sentiments exactly. All the DLC items, plus the extras for cheaper and once off. I'm doing this :)

Wait so they charge R650 for mw3 and then on top of hat R400 for some crappy subscription. Getting the map packs for free? You paying R400 how is that free.

If the map packs are included - and you want all of them - in their DLC then it may be worth it - but really, most of that other crap doesn't excite me. I mean, with our international lag, there's almost no way we can compete with proper clans in the US/UK with minimal lag. I dunno...that kind of ranking thing doesn't work for me.

I'm just gonna buy the standard game, and buy the map packs (maybe) that I want. Like the latest blops resurrection map pack, i wasn't interested in that so I didn't buy it. I dunno, I'm just not convinced for that kind of cash.
