Call of Duty Ghosts: PC: Servers

There is no server browser... i think there is local servers, but at the moment its laggy as hell, give it a week and things will ease down.

I cannot believe that BF is more fluid and faster paced! (and never mind the nonsense low texture graphics in this COD. Looks worse than CS)
 
Haha, first time I launched the MP (+- 20 000 people online on release day?) it looked just like CS. And I couldn't even set the graphic options.
There seems to be so little interest in this game.
 
To believe I would have considered buying this for PC late December.

Hearing nothing but negative reviews.

Dude seriously spare your self the rage and swearing, DO NOT buy this crap. If you don't have bf4 then rather get that because I can tell you now it is much much better....

My pc almost went swimming last night after playing this game for and hour

Going to wait for Titanfall.

Interests me a lot more than CoD or Bf4.
 
There are no official statements coming from Activision on the server situation at this stage.

I've been digging around for info but there doesn't appear to be anything useful out there; that and the people I asked are keeping quiet or aren't allowed to say.

I have a feeling that Gameservers.com is behind the dedicated server infrastructure, as they have been involved in previous CoD games.

MWEB is the official Gameservers provider in SA, which means if the local servers are anywhere, they are over on MWEB.

I don't have ghosts, so I can't check, but maybe someone can use WireShark to figure out the IP addresses of their game session to confirm it's hitting MWEB.
 
Guys I need some input from the guys in the know. I have read some really bad reviews of the Ghosts and I wanted to get some insight from other people. IS it really as same old same old as everyone is saying. Is it worth my bucks in other words or should I just stick with Black Ops II

Dude DO NOT buy this CRAP, it is the worst CoD ever. Rather get bf4 it will be a much better game. Unless they bring out a massive patch by end of the month I am selling my whole steam account and getting bf4.

MW3 and BO2 is way better then ghost.

With all the shit I get in Battlefield 4, I would rather play that than COD. It is now truly a recycled title.
 
Wow, being a big time CoD: BO2 player, I am surprised that so many hate on Ghosts. What about the game is that bad that BF4 is better? I haven't played BF much and I am not completely pro CoD either. I just enjoyed BO2 as it was the game I had at the time.

Some of my friends love it as it feels to them like MW3 and BO2 combined but I can understand how BF3/4 players might find it limiting as it is a game with small maps and no real team play.

I'd kile you opinions on the game as I have to decide between BF4 and Ghosts and cannot decide at the mo.

I've been a fan of CoD since the very first game, and as a hardened fan, even I think they're grasping at straws.
There is nothing inherently wrong with the MP, in that it does what it says on the box and if you enjoyed it previously there is no reason you won't now, but it seems almost empty in comparison to Blops 2 (which is without a doubt the superior game).
The new maps and modes are highly enjoyable though.

As for BF, I have no idea - I never got into it.

I really enjoyed the other CoDs, so my perspective might be warped.
I finished the campaign on normal yesterday. its fun, but easy. luckily there are different difficulties.
I only touched on the extinction - but it appears more fun than Zombies.
I love the squads idea - I play that alot. (build you squad, level the members up individualy etc)
MP is still MP, fun and fast. The lag is a massive issue.

but most importantly (for me) is to have people to play with. alot of the squads / survival / mp modes are better with friends only. randoms just kill the fun.

my opinion. enjoy whichever one you choose!!
 
They better get moving with those servers though - I see the words Migrating Host one more time...
