Call of duty Ghosts

So... It's that time of the year again. Its Call of duty time! Only difference is that it actually looks promising this year!

If anyone was wondering that is indeed eminem's new song,"survival"

IW in the reveal event said the game is a 80% overhaul of CodMW3 which can only be a improvement. Judging by the gameplay and other youtuber's response and thoughts it looks like it'll "feel" different. It still isn't as pretty as BF4 for instance but it's a big upgrade from BO2. Stoked for this :D

Looks similar to Battlefield 3...waaay better than previous COD attempts. :D
 
As much as I moan about how crap COD has become , I will end up buying this just because I like shooting people ....
 
I'll try get it over xmas time, end of the day its a fun shooter that gets the job done. Poor story, bring it on, old engine, I still have my mouse from Gr8. I don't mind any of that so long as I get to shot people in face without caring why, storylines are for other games, CoD is mindless fun game.

I am not going to buy it unless its on a big special...
But one of you could give it to me (free of charge) *wink*wink* :D
 
I have never bought a COD game, but I want this one. Only problem is the price; I can't justify spending 600rand on it.

Here's a dumb formula I devised about buying MP oriented games:
Take price of Movie: ~R50 without edgars card

Price of game/50 = x hours.
Take x and times by 3 = y (taking into consideration the loading/waiting/internet failing)

Do you see yourself having at least y hours of entertainment with your friends?
If so, get it! Else wait for special :p
 
I enjoy playing the COD games, but would never say they are ground breaking. Just fun. Though the last one I played was BLOPs 1 (really enjoyed the SP), have I missed out on anything good? I find they hardly ever go on sale so never really get around to playing them.

MW3 was horse shit... Bo2 on the other hand had a awesome SP ( different endings and choices and shit) the MP imo was so much fun.. I clocked in about 300 hours which justified the price.

I really hope they give us dedicated servers again... without lobby nonsense.

It seems like CODG will finally be a major overhaul when it comes to graphics in the CoD series. But then that is obviously due to the new console generation. :)
 
Oh look. Another COD game? Who would whave thought right? Ill get a copy when its on special and never play it. I own everything from MW2 sadly. . .
 
Sorry for the hectic thread necro but I just got Ghosts for my Bday from Voicy (thanks again stywe!:D)
The multiplayer is pretty much standard CoD. I just suffer with lag a bit more than with previous titles.
The single player is definitely where its at. It is the best single player campaign I've played in a CoD game since the first MW. Im getting a distinct '300' vibe from it. Its totally awesome. The presentation vids between levels and voice acting is also super great.
