Can you transfer single-player progress from current to next-gen?

Ubisoft, EA ,and Activision speak about single-player transfer from current to next-gen

Ok, MP progress was more what I was worried about.

Now the question is, can I start eg BF4 on XBox 360, and then upgrade (and keep my progress) to the PS4 version????
