At least two children had died and thousands were treated for gastric-related complications across Cape Town in the last two months, it was reported on Monday.

The Cape Argus reported that over 2500 children were treated at local clinics for moderate to severe dehydration due to diarrhoea, with 300 admitted during November and December.

Unfortunately, this caught me AFTER having a chilli pasta pot at a mate's birthday party yesterday... :(
 
I've been spared so far, but I won't be buying a salomie from the snotty nosed kid selling his wares at the office anymore, just to be on the safe side :p
