I just hit 75Gigs. That's in 6 day's. Note this is between 4 computers.

I also average around 10gigs a day. Capped accounts are no where near sufficient. Same goes for shaped uncapped accounts >.<
To the OP. Find out how much you use on average a month and then compare the price of a capped package that's slightly higher vs an uncapped package. In terms of unshaped vs shaped, you'll need to compare your average daily/monthly usage as well as what protocols you use. I know from my Afrihost Uncapped Home account that they shaped the P2P traffic quite bad but browsing, Youtube, streaming services and online gaming were all working swimmingly.

Between D and I we do around 200GB a month. I think he uses a bit less than I do, but I tend to stick to around 120-150GB.
Most I've ever done in a month is 540GB. And I don't have a clue what I downloaded :/
Think I was probably "I'll download this. Nah, don't feel like it. NEXT!"

Ever since we swapped to uncapped I never have to check my usage anymore previously I was a wreck because I forgot to not let steam update my games and boom I am done with our cap.
haha on cap it was like lets see if I have enought cap to download this game. okay no I can't this month but next month I can. Come next month you still can't download that game and you end up with a library of games that you can't download. Or if someone links a vid you have to skip it because it eats your cap

haha... It's funny that you mention that--I use NetWorx to monitor my usage. I don't even know why... I just like knowing how much I use. It's not like I get throttled or shaped or have a cap or anything to worry about but some part of me has been conditioned to monitor this rubbish!
But you're right, I don't miss stressing about that stuff at all!

The reason I have Networx is because if we get major lag ingames we can check if something is downloading on a pc.

Video games are crazy these days. Just re-downloaded a bunch of my games, about 150GB in total for around 10 games! Luckily I have an uncapped, unshaped line so it only took a few days to finish.
