Ferrari FF Received a facelift

The Ferrari FF is out and the new Ferrari GTC4 Lusso is in. Maranello’s four-seat, grand tourer has been subjected to a mid-life facelift, name change and power boost from its 6.3-litre V12 engine.

The new GTC4 Lusso name makes reference to famous Ferraris which have gone before it ,such as the 330 GTC, four-seat 330 GT – one of Enzo’s favourites, apparently – and 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso.

Renault Alpine Sportscars are back!

Renault has decided to resurrect its sportscar brand, Alpine, best known for the iconic A110. This classic brand has many fans and there's a lot on the cards for the French marque, including a comprehensive model line up. First out the blocks is this Alpine Vision concept.

The brand had been mothballed for more than 20 years, but Renault has confirmed that Alpine will make a full production return in 2017. However, despite its absence, the Alpine brand has been busy thanks to its fanbase. Plenty of racing examples are still being entered in events and, between the years of 1955 and 1995, 30 000 Alpine vehicles were produced and sold... so its return is highly anticipated. The Alpine vehicles will be assembled in Dieppe, France, which is the home of RenaultSport, and the first units are expected to go on sale in European markets in 2017 with plans to ship them around the world.

Lamborghini Centenario possibly revealed in patent photos

lamborghini-patent-images-001-1.jpg

Newly published Lamborghini patent images might give us a preview of the upcoming Centenario, which celebrates the hundredth anniversary of Ferruccio Lamborghini's birth.

The low-slung design features a pointed nose, and the profile has an arc running from the tip of the front to the rear. The shape looks like it would slice through the air, and the massive diffuser is definitely attention grabbing at the rear. From the top, there appears to be a small, roof-mounted vent into the engine compartment. Three exhausts poke out the rear, including a slightly smaller one in the center. In traditional Lamborghini fashion, visibility out the back seems practically nonexistent. Hopefully, the company mounts a camera back there to make life easier.

Lamborghini reportedly bases the Centenario on the Aventador, which seems likely from these renderings. The company allegedly plans to build 20 coupes and 20 convertibles for $2.4 million each, and power would come from a more potent version of the supercar's V12. Rumors suggest we might see the Centenario launch at the Geneva Motor Show in early March, but the debut might be perfunctory. Even at the astronomical price, they're supposedly already sold out.

These renderings come from the Office of Harmonization for the Internal Market, which handles patents and trademarks in the European Union. The documents with this listing unfortunately don't give away the model name, but it shows Lamborghini registered for the design patent on October 26, 2015. The renderings were just published on February 17, 2016.

Designed from the ground up by the Secret Service, President Barack Obama's $1.5 million "Cadillac One," aka "The Beast," is a moving fortress impenetrable by bullets and bombs. The president has 12 identical limos in rotation and, when not in use, they're parked in the basement of the Secret Service's headquarters and are under 24-hour surveillance, AutoWeek reports.

At least two cars travel with the president wherever he goes, and they get a humble 3.7 miles to the gallon. The president's motorcade is surrounded with up to 45 other armed vehicles, including an identical decoy, local police, a mobile communications center, more armed vehicles, and an ambulance.

The cars are manufactured by General Motors in Detroit and have a gasoline V8 engine. The top speed and weight of each car is classified, as is the bulletproof technology used in the windows.

Not sure it will last long here before it gets stolen. I had a car radio of which I lost they keys to remove the unit. The radio broke and I wanted to replace it and everyone I took it to had a problem getting the radio out and wanted to charge me for half stripping the dash. So I left it. One Sunday morning, I heard someone at my car that was parked outside - ran to the car but too late- the person speed off and into the bushes. I went to assess the damage - The thieve stole my radio without damaging the dash or speaker wires and took him less than 5 min. I was so happy.:D

Apollo Arrow rises from Gumpert ashes with 1,000 hp

The Gumpert Apollo was one of the fastest cars ever to lap the Nürburgring. Fast as it was though, it wasn't very pretty. But now it's back with new bodywork and even more power than before.

01-apollo-arrow-geneva-1.jpg

Those who've been following will recall that Gumpert went bust a few years ago, but now it's been revived with fresh investment from a company in Hong Kong. Rebranded as Apollo Automobil, it still has founder Roland Gumpert at the helm, and is relaunching with the new Apollo Arrow you see here.

The Arrow is closely based on the Gumpert Apollo, but does away with its straight lines for more swoopy bodywork – said to be inspired by sharks, with a bit of F22 Raptor fighter jet thrown in for good measure. We see more than a bit of the McLaren P1 in it, though, especially with the orange paintjob. Wherever it draws its influence from, though, it looks a lot more compelling.

13-apollo-arrow-geneva-1.jpg

The Audi-sourced, twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 is highly modified. Though the specs are still being finalized, larger turbochargers and less back-pressure from the exhaust are projected to help it make 1,000 horsepower and a good 740 pound-feet or so of torque. Apollo expects the results to work out to a 0-62 time of under 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 220 miles per hour.

02-apollo-arrow-geneva-1.jpg

Once production gets underway at the new factory in Germany, Apollo plans to build no more than 100 examples, and we're sure they'll each command a princely sum. If you're in the market, though, and either can't wait until deliveries commence or were more enamored by the raw brutality of the previous model, the company will also produce just six examples of a repackaged Apollo N as well, based on the outgoing Gumpert Apollo S.

2017 Bugatti Chiron: The $2.6-Million, 1500-hp, 261-mph Image Booster

Leaving the 99.999 percent in its dust, the Chiron is a 1500-hp smackdown of every hypercar ever produced in the history of time. An 8.0-liter sixteen-cylinder engine utilizes four turbos to make 1500 hp and 1180 lb-ft of torque for what will surely be epic acceleration; Bugatti claims a top speed of 261 mph. A seven-speed automatic routes that power through all four wheels. If you have to ask, you can’t afford it—expect a price of around $2.6 million when it goes on sale this fall.
