Case Airflow - Help

IF you move your pc to the floor go buy some cheap tiles from ANY tile place in cpt. CTM or what ever . get a piece of wood the same size and then place your tiles on the wood nd your pc on the tiles. IT makes sure the fan ports or your PSU doesnt get blocked y the carpet :D
Fortunately, I've got wooden floors!

oh hot spot!
The ones usually at 88 and the other around 95 on load, I could start a mini-bakery in the space between them lol. I'll eventually test with one of those cards removed and see how much difference it makes. Maybe a reason to invest in that new Radeon!

At constant clock speed of 3.3GHz the temps only dropped about 5 degrees. I might reapply the thermal paste today just as an extra measure.

Selling 2 x 560Ti can get you a single 580GTX that will help a lot aswell :D
It's funny because these were my options when putting together my new PC recently and I've considered doing that swap already. I might just have to accept that these are the temps I'm going to be living with until I can replace those cards which I'm in no rush to do. Although I have considered selling one of the cards so that when I do decide to upgrade I won't have 2 really old cards. While we're on this topic, anyone have much idea of when the new GTX's are supposed to come out?

I saw some rumors for February, but we will have to wait and see if that's true. Let me know if you are selling one of your cards, I might be interested. :)
