Cavendish Square Playstation Competition

For those of you living in the Cape Town area there is a competition happening at Cavendish on 15-16 June in the Edgars Court (escalator area in front of Edgars).

Details
The game that will be played is Gran Turismo 4. Players will aim to get the best possible time they can achieve. There is no limit to the amount of times you can race.

Spot prizes are also being given away on both days by Popular mechanics and a few other magazine publishers.

Prize
The grand prize for the best race time is a R5000 Look & Listen Hamper. I couldn't get any details on what the hamper includes but I'm pretty sure that with a R5000 tag on it that it's possibly a PS3 with a few games.

The best time from when I was there was 1:13:67 but I was stoppoed from trying again because I won the hourly prize

A Popular Mechanics t-shirt that would only fit a 9 year old, a model car of some ancient 1960's car and a Popular Mechanics Cap (about the only useful thing to me).
