CDProjekt lays off legal threats to supposed pirates

You're a bit late. The discussion has already started taking a turn towards a more civil approach, from all parties involved I dare say.

Initiating group hug in 3...2...1...

See? :P

But I mean it, aside from a rocky start, we're actually having a rather decent conversation now.

The word Hug is upsetting me again

The general stance on topics is that everything is open for discussion as long as people stay civil about it. We're not here to baby-sit the forums and say what you can and can't talk about.
Agreed, but one should take into consideration other factors. Nothing stops me from firing up some thread I know is going to evoke feeling under the pretence of civil talk, but yes I agree.

That said, this thread isn't here for a piracy talk - it's specifically about CDProjekt's approach towards it, and the resulting action they took etc. So let's talk about that. If you don't want to talk about that - then don't post here.
It's impossible to separate the two, it's like talking about a building that burnt down without talking about fire.

I think it's a bit silly that we get reported posts about a thread, only to find that everyone, including the post-reporters, are actively perpetuating the content of the posts they're reporting.
You don't say :D

On topic - or get out.
So you also effectively saying STFU ?

At times you have to be clear on other factors that contribute towards a certain topic before just firing off on just select point of view.

Okay, it's pretty easy - this isn't a thread about what you have or haven't pirated. It's not a thread about moderation and the factors that contribute towards something being classified as being off-topic, either.

If it's truly concerning you, feel free to PM me about it.

Hey, don't blame me - YOU guys called me here.

Noted, thank you.

I'm not, neither have I made report or called.

I'm taking my leave from this thread, thank you.

Edit: Removed as it's better to PM James rather than post it in public.
