Changing Xbox 360 Location

yes you create a new uk/us live account if your current live is south africa. you can however after the uk/us live set it in your console back to RSA.
 
You cannot change the country of your gamer tag once its set. You must create a new gamer tag.

Since South Africa is not officially supported by Xbox live at the moment, its best to create a gamer tag that is either set to the United States or Europe.

And no, no one knows if there will be any problems at a later stage should South Africa become officially supported.
 
Yeah i had that problem, all you need to do is delete your LIVE account, and create a new one. Then from there just enter a UK postal code to set it all up.

should work from there.
