Chivalry: Medieval Warfare - South African Community

We had about 16 people on the server the night I posted that, but I haven't seen people playing again since then. :(

I'm going to try and see if I can't organise with the Press_Start ZA group to have a dedicated Chivalry night every week. They've already got UT2k4 on Fridays.

Anyone still playing this? or opening it up every now and then.

Graal did you ever got a response from Press_Start regarding the dedicated Chivalry night.

I tried it again over the weekend but it seems that the SA servers are still non-existent.

I think I deleted mine because the servers were pretty dead :(

I also started to play this with Eugene back when.
its a fun game, and i played it a lot back when there was SA servers, and then a few times on UK servers after the SA servers went offline.

I asked the Press_Start guys but it didn't really garner a lot of attention so nothing came of it. It's a shame. I'd love to play again.

Do you think it would be possible to get it up again.
I see that the Chivalry South Africa CMWSA group on steam had a couple of people that inquired about it end of last year?

I just left a message on the group comment section hopefully someone sees it and replies.
 
I wouldn't mind playing again with some okes who aren't too good ;) I haven't played in over a year probably :(

edit: Wow, my last screenshot was taken 2 years ago. It doesn't tell me when last I played though.

hi StrontiumDog, i've heard from a few other people in the last week or so that would also like to play it again.

Seems like we are almost up to 6 or so that is interested.
 
I couldnt find any local games to play. I joined a UK server and by the second game I was had the 3rd or 4th most frags in FFA after not playing for a couple of years. Only problem was that they kept trying to kick vote me off? :wtf:

By the 3rd game they succeeded in kicking me off!

I suppose they didn't like the fact that I was high ping? Perhaps something to do with affecting the performance for everyone else ...

Yeah same thing happened to me the other day. Got kicked off the server for high ping :(.
