Apologies if there is already a thread on this rattling around somewhere, I just want to know if there is a viable local community for this game, or if it is at all possible to play on international servers without experiencing lag-city.

It looks super rad and it's on Steam for $8.50 this weekend.

Edit: Never mind, I'm being an ass-hat. It's free to play this weekend, so I'll give it a bash and revert with feedback if anyone is interested. Admins feel free to carpet bomb this thread.

As far as I know it StoneCold has a server or two he's hosting straight out of his wallet. Whether they're being used by Saffa's I can't really say. I think he also has a steam group.

Nah, to my dismay, the local scene for this is pretty much dead. In the +- 2 months I've had it, I've only seen players on the local servers once.

It's really a pity, because it's an amazing game.
