Hey guys,

Time to spend some hard earned money!

I'm in the market for a new monitor, my 19" has got to go!

My choices so far is either a Samsung BX2331 or P2770H. Budget is R2500. BX is an LED and P27 is just huge but an LCD.

Wanted to pick your brains to see if there are any other choices out there (I'm sure thousands).

General suggestion - go for the LED screen. Yes, it has less screen real-estate, in inches, but it'll make up for that in sheer clarity and crispness as it has the same res as the 27".
 
I had the same dilemma, but i went for the BX2350 and I don't regret for a second. It truly is an awesome monitor and the quality is epic. It's just the right size for gaming the p2770 is just too big!
 
I hear you guys. I am a little worried about the size being to big for gaming, but at the same time its a good size for watching movies ect. Suppose I will have to sacrifice somewhere!
