Church to be asked to accept gays

Hmmm... The 3 sister churches are usually late to the party so would be interesting to see if they'll allow it... However, as far as I know one of the big Dutch reform churches in Pta perform marriage for gay people, have a gay reverent and everything.
I actually wonder what my church's viewpoint is on the matter as I haven't heard anything on the subject yet. It is based on the same model as Hillsong United so I suppose it should be similar to their stance, but based on my time there, I think it is highly unlikely that anyone will be shown away.

On a side note: please use a capital G when referring to God. Since we're talking about God and not just any god.

Why though? Writing god with a capital G is a christian custom for showing their respect for the deity they believe in. As someone who doesn't believe in the christian god, I don't see why I should follow christian customs.

And I don't mean that disrespectfully, I just don't see the point of adhering to the customs of a belief you are not a member of. Same reason I won't sing christian carols on easter.

However I also don't see why you would want to force yourself into a community that doesn't want you.

My dilemma too. But maybe they feel a strong calling?

@ Graal

God is the name of the Christian god, like Allah or Buddha or whatever, and you spell names with capital letters. god with a small letter refers to any god , be it Apollo, Cupid, Mars you name it.
