Civilization V In Stock

Moody whats your opinion on this game? I just bought RUSE so Can't get this at the moment.
 
LoL Ive been playing the demo all day and had a lot of fun with it - Dosent seem to be that much new stuff in the demo - the major thing that I noticed is that citys can now attack enemy units.I think that this game is strictly for Civ fans.

Dont get me wrong from what I can see in the demo I think that the full game is going to be great and very very time consuming - but not everybody - in fact almost nobody I know - is into turn based strat games and prefer RTS like RUSE,Starcraft etc.

So if you like turned based games then you will like it.

Love turned base games. How many years I played heroes of might and magic 3. This looks like it will be right up my alley. Are you going to get it?
 
I am - LoL I was hoping that Zap would bring me a copy home tonight - but he didnt!!

T if you like turned based epic games then you will enjoy this.

I do. I am kinda tired of instant gratification games. That is why I love ruse. Playing it on the hardest difficulty and it makes you think.

Can't just tank rush. But this civ 5 game looks epic.
 
Lol I don't know I am new to the series. I do know they reworked the combat and the graphics.

I am currently a fascist state. Very militaristic. Oh and I am The Arabs in north america:p Just wish you could have a option that places the civs where they should be when you choose world map.
 
So it kept on crashing on my third last turn on my first game:( Wonder if it will do that when I start a new one:eek:
 
The 70 cities crash is killing me. Over 300 turns on a HUGE Earth Map, 69 cities all linked to the capital and I'm now stuck. I've now surrounded Atlanta and Philadelphia but cant attack because as soon as I take over either one of the cities, CTD. Not attacking isn't an option because it is "Domination" mode...Stupid game.

It is happening to you as well:( Well looks like we will have to wait till the patch. Also same as you except I am not playing domination(even thought I have taken most of the cities.)I just don't have the time to finish my Appolo project:( by one turn.
