Civilization VI

Is that Sean Bean aka Ned Stark aka 008 aka every other bad guy in every other movie ever, in the trailer?

HOLY SH1111TBALLS!! YES! CIV 5 is one of my favourite games ever!!

This might be the final push for me to upgrade my pc!

5 was good but I got bored of it quicker than earlier games in the franchise. I haven't read up about this one but I hope it adds a lot more towards the end game. In fact I'd like it if they make it quite a bit more complex. 5 felt a bit watered down.

I'm very keen on the game though!

Did you play it with the expansions? Civ is one of those games it's worth waiting for at least the 1st expansion to come out.

I'm really not liking the cartoon art style Civ VI has.

Yep, first played it without the expansions and then with them. It was a much better game with the expansions I must say.

I'm keen to give this a try. I just hope they offer a bit more depth than Civ 5 did. Nothing related to the franchise has come close to the depth of Alpha Centauri, so I think I'm always comparing Civ games to AC.

Yes definitely want this, liked civ 5 alot, and sofar this looks like it could only be beter.

I've played about 30mins of the tutorial this morning and so far i'm really liking it. Small changes like being able to link settler to a military unit for protection is a big plus. Only being able to build something like a library on a campus improvement makes for better city planning. The new civics tree also seems a bit more interesting.

I'm not sure how i feel about the removal of some of the automated features though. I can understand why they did it, especially with builders. But i can imagine it becoming tedious to manage a bunch of exploration units every turn during mid to late game.
