Clan member caught and banned for hacking

It saddens me and embarrasses me to have to post this here, but unfortunately we have had one of our players caught and banned for hacking in Blops. VAC has banned his account and his has been sent packing from our clan, the Soul Slayers. The player in question is MMBB or also known MadMaxBadBoy. He also admitted to hacking in BC2 already by using wall hacks. It seems he has been VAC banned for amongst other things level hacking.

Our clan is utterly disgusted by this and we have never and will never condone hacking in any shape or form. And what makes this doubly bad is that he had been accused before of hacking in BC2 already. He vehemently denied this and we backed him up. We can not merely kick someone because so & so merely accuses someone of hacking without any real proof or evidence. I'm sure you can understand this. Unfortunately he betrayed our trust and must now suffer the consequences.

So, from my side, apologies for any crap and unhappiness he has caused. I hope that no other clan will accept him as a member. I also hope that any potential hackers will take note of this and maybe think twice before engaging in probably the most despicable act one can do in online gaming.

This is rather strange. MMBB is still a registered member of the WarGeeks (|WrG|) clan.

We were not aware that he is part of other clans. Normally when our clan members play for other clans in AGASA leagues etc. they get express permission from the clan admins.

Well, he had been playing for us, SS, for quite a while now. Since when BC2 released already.
 
He has been a (pretty infrequent) member of WrG since April 2009.

Thanks for the heads up, though. He is no longer a member of WrG, now (either).

I think that hackers need to be named and shamed because it's the most scumbag thing to do in gaming. I hope this is a lesson to all cheaters out there. If you can't play fair, don't play at all. I'm glad you guys are so serious about hacking, that's how it should be.
 
Look, we will always give any member the benefit of the doubt. We can not and will not simply ban people from our clan merely on suspicion. We value our clan members as almost every single one of us are mates with each other. We don't merely just jol online together. We also have braais and get togethers. We watch rugga together and get drunk together when the occasion calls for it, so that one of our members has done this is extremely disappointing and it hurts. If we catch you or you are caught, it's tickets I'm afraid.
 
Cheating and hacking is so unbelievably pathetic. Glad you guys rooted the scum out and I hope he doesn't ruin any more games in future.

What really scares me about this whole thing though is that he admitted to using hacks in Bad Company 2 as well. The part that scares me is why the fuck punkbuster didn't pick it up??? And he played on SGS servers, iGame servers and even WAGE now and then. I only hope that VAC keeps up to date and keeps nailing these assholes!

I think it's because most of the coders that develop the hacks are obviously very skilled and they keep up to date with all the anti-cheat software to adjust and update their hacks. That's why most of the "popular" cheats cost you money. You actually pay to subscribe to it and it keeps getting updated. There are fsucking hundreds of hackers on BC2. Most of the time when I'm playing I see a hacker here and there. And it's quite obvious too. Mostly international players, though.

Yes sure dude, but I know it would not feel nice of one of my friends gets banned for hacking. The disappointment will be very big.
 
Why do okes bother using hax when they know that either one way or the other they will end up getting banned...
