Cloud gaming steps into the limelight

So despite Onlive going under, Nvidia still seems adamant that cloud computing is the future...I'm not so sure about that. It's a nice concept and all, but its not something us South Africans with our, lets just say, unique internet options can really get into. Maybe with Telkom's 40Mbps lines perhaps, but still the data intensity will be so high that you will most likely be shaped to a grinding halt.

Onlive was a good idea, run by idiots, and started a few years too early, in my opinion.
 
I have a Onlive account and didnt even know that they closed down. Sounded like a good idea until you see how much bandwith it uses.
But the internet speeds are increasing steadily every year, lets hope that we can get cheap and fast uncapped sooner than later.
