CoD: Black Ops hints at JFK assassination

I highly doubt you'll actually get to Assassinate JFK. There was already heavy scandal on shooting civilians, but one of the ex-presidents of the (mighty, politically run) US?

The US government will go to whatever lengths they need to, to make sure that this isn't a part of it.

Activision risk way too much in putting something like this in, and you would probably re-enact the scene playing the role of a bodygaurd or something. That makes a bit more sense than "lyk ZOMGz, u kan shewt Kenidy!11".

Similarly, nobody expected them to put a mission in MW2 which tasked the player with walking through an airport massacring civilians. Remember, more scandal = more publicity = more sales.

I wouldn't put it past them, and I'm not sure the US government could do very much to intervene.

I also don't think they should be able to.

What an epic part of the game..at that moment I felt completely submerged in it.

On topic again, I think it'll be like Phatso said, You'll portray a bodyguard and you'll witness the shooting, something along those lines.
Would love to be the assassin though:o
 
Could also be that you are tasked as a counter sniper and must keep the president alive as he goes down the road?

Think Babysit / convoy missions. I freaken hate those.

oh ... being the assassin would be cool ... i shoot everyone there on the stage before him :P
 
Fair enough Tinman, scandal (like sex), does sell.
But no one knew about the civilian killing before the game was released.

If Horatio and the CSI team are correct and people do know about the controversy, there might be uproar before the game is even released.

(inb4 CSI ""YEEEEAAAAAAHHH..."" references :D )
