COD: Modern Warfare 2 (free MP weekend, This Weekend on Steam April 7, 2010)

Guys get the game's cache from a friend. Easy peasy. Unless you dont have a friend who has MW2. But then again where do you live then?
 
4gb for the MP component on its own, cool! OK, I think it will only be doable and worthwhile if i get a 4mbps line activated today cause I don't fancy sleeping while my PC is on busy downloading :( We share a room :p

Question: Can u pause the download and easily resume later on?
 
12gb download sucks big time (for 384k'ers), not that it would have been worth it anyways just for 1 weekend IMO. As luck would have it, there was power load shedding today in our area so my PC has been off since early hours of last night...

UPDATE: Looks like my 4mbit upgrade has been done!!! According to my router stats: Downstream = 4096 kbps :) Yeah baby!!! :D

[update2]Just realised I ain't going to be downloading no 12gb time limited version of MW2 unless I have a 4Mb uncapped adsl account :( Am currently on the 512k mweb uncapped account.

Well, I finished my download last night, took a while with Mweb being a little slow lately (getting great speeds now though x_x) and I'm having great fun! ^_^ So if anyone else is playing, add me if yah want: Nerhzelok
Can host some private free-for-all matches. :D
 
How does the hosting work? How many players can u have in a game hosted by someone with a 4Mb line? And I assume the smaller the line of the host the less players can connect to the hosted game?
