COD WWII Beta

I decided to give the COD WWII beta a try since it's been ages since I last played any Call of Duty and felt like a bit of the run and gun action.

One thing I can say is that it underneath it all it's still pretty much the same. On a positive note you know what to expect and get that experience. On the negative side, it gets old quick. The shift back to WWII doesn't change much of the essential gaemplay, it's still COD running around in a different skin.

Oh and lastly, P2P matchmaking is the worst!

Has anyone else given the beta a try?

I also decided to give it a try, haven't played COD in a long time.

The latency is what killed it for me, aiming at the guy but you can just see you aren't hitting him, then you die. I got over it really quickly.
And yes, the matchmaking was shit for me as well. Did you also have the crap latency, or were you connected with more local guys?

I'd love to give it a bit more of a go, but with the latency I had yesterday, there is no way I'm playing it.

There was even a match where NO ONE had good latency in the green. Not even one

Watched a couple of live streams and lets plays. It looks like a mod for Advanced Warefare. Having said that...

I wanted to type out all the things wrong with the game but, I am lazy. Like the Sledgehammer Games and Activision.

Checked it out at a Friends house. Latency was off the charts shite so I couldn't even play properly. I kind of put it down to the fact that it is a beta, so I'm not exactly going to crucify the game, but I'm also unlikely to pay a grand for the final product.

It's probably from over playing cod and moh in my varsity days.
