Comic Books

Really enjoying the New 52 - I love the Batman, Nightwing and Justice League series.

Also - the storylines have been interesting however they tend to be a little bit all over the place.

Yeah. That's exactly what is happening. No more Amazing Spider-Man. But I'll put money on the table that it won't stay away for too long. Also, Superior Spider-Man is not Peter Parker.

Those are all good books. You should also give Batman & Robin a shot if you like Batman and Nightwing.

Read the first few issues - just a bit confusing with Bruce having a love child with Talia and there's no backstory to it for me. Does issue 0 provide more detail into that?

Damian's backstory was not part of the new52, as it was already in place before that. Comes from way earlier, I see that he even made an appearance as an unknown infant in 1987. If you can get your hands on it, try to get the Batman & Son story arc from the older continuity.

Also, if anyone reads digital comics, Comixology is having a sale on DC Super-Villain titles. Got Penguin: Pain and Prejudice (5 issues) and Joker's Last Laugh (6 issues) for 99c (US) each.
 
Yeah the superior spidey looks awesome, seen a few covers. Just not happy that they going kill/retire/whatever Peter Parker. All be it for a while.

Valiant has a sale only for today where all of their comics are 99c.

So I will have a lot of catching up to do come December
 
Catching up on my backlog. Just finished the Deadpool run up to issue 63. Very cool. Issues 61 and 62 were penciled by Ale Garza brilliant artists. Also Justice League post Suerman and Wonderwoman kissy face issue, always good.

Also Reading Idolized and Soulfire from Aspen Comics so far so good.

Strangely enough, I am considering dropping Justice League...it it not really doing anything for me...the Darkseid stuff at the start of the series was okay, and two issues where Graves was busy terrorising everyone...but nothing else really appeals to me.

MMkay yeah i get that. I dropped it a while back then picked it up again. I still love the artwork and the story is pretty cool to me. Each to their own i guess.
 
Ok guys problem looking for a solution , I have as you guys know over the last year switched to the digital format which is awesome
Problem I have now is unlike my shelves of comic books I have my digital downloads in folders here and there.Is there a way to organise this collection.I have tried Comic Rack but its always buggy and crashes and I cant seem to get the library to work , its A pitty cause it would have complemented the App on my Tablet (but I use something Called Komic's on the Tab now )

Any Ideas on how to organise this stuff.
another issue I face is that I cant remember what I have or haven't read

Hmmm I'll keep an eye out dude. I use Comixology, which already kind of does that for me. Will let you know if I see anything.

Only use it to view/convert but it does support most comic formats & has a comprehensive organiser. Maybe worth trying...
