Comic Books

Not really, I've been more of an Imgurian TBH, I'll check out the subreddit though.

Check out that sub, I guarantee that you'll like it. In fact, I made a comics multi-reddit, which has lots of cool stuff on there. Will do a bit of housekeeping and then share it in this thread.

Install the Reddit Enhancement Suite plug-in on your browsers, it will make much more sense then.

It is absolutely the best source of comic book stuff out there.

I have to agree... Not only comic book stuff, Reddit is the best source for pretty much anything... There are great sub reddits for TV shows, politics, news, you name it...

Fellow redditor here. I subscribe to r/comicbooks. It's pretty decent. I'm not an active contributor though, I just lurk.

I think 98% of people on reddit just lurk :p

PS: New Walking dead comic came out yesterday and it was AMAZEBALLS!!!

I am supposed to get one volume a month digitally, sadly I haven't moved past vol2. I should do that.

Also, I bought #1-11 of Hawkeye and #1-6 of Immortal Iron First on Comixology's Matt Fraction sale over the weekend. Those two books are absolutely MUST READS.

I also finished New X-Men: Imperial in the last two days. Morrison, Quietly, Van Sciver FTW.

Just finished reading that new Justice League....and DAMN!!!! This new JL is getting soo trippy but so good

At issue 10 of Hawkeye at the moment. Jeez, Francavilla is the guest artist for the issue...and it is beautiful. That's saying a lot, because the regular artist is David Aja, who is also really impressive.

I'm quite intrigued by the following piece of news as I already play the game in question;

Calling all gamers! DC Entertainment announced today it will release a new digital comic based on “Infinite Crisis” – the upcoming free-to-play MOBA PC game based in the DC Multiverse from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developed by Turbine. INFINITE CRISIS will join DC Entertainment’s digital-first line-up in May and will be released on a weekly basis digitally and collected monthly in print starting in July. The series will be written by Dan Abnett (LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY) and a team of artists which will include Christian Duce (BATMAN: ARKHAM ORIGINS).

The INFINITE CRISIS comic takes place before the start of the videogame, before the Crisis kicks into high gear and all of the heroes and villains are recruited by The Monitor to serve as Champions and battle against unseen enemies to save the Multiverse. As in the game, characters from alternate DC Universes will be joining forces to try and stop the approaching Crisis. Prime Earth Batman will join forces with the likes of Gaslight Catwoman, Arcane Green Lantern, Atomic Wonder Woman and Nightmare Robin. In addition to the infinite characters from the video game, Harbinger has been redesigned for the comic book series and will join an all new character, Atomic Two-Face, in the action.

Developed by Turbine, “Infinite Crisis” delivers a heart-pounding competitive player vs. player battle experience set in DC Comics’ legendary Multiverse and puts players in control of beloved heroes in twisted incarnations, such as Gaslight Batman and Atomic Wonder Woman, playing in league with well-known characters including Superman, The Joker, Green Lantern and The Flash.

Stay tuned for more details on the series including the official launch date!
