Comic Books

Nothing on my side. Still got plenty of comics left unread I'm sad to say. It has somehow lost a bit of the allure to me, and I still can not pin point why :confused:

Dude, I have a floppy pile that's been growing since November. I have so many unread issues which I am just not finding the time for.

Yeah, this is a notoriously bad drawing that always gets pulled up when discussing poor art.

I know what you mean. I'm getting so busy that I've got a massive unread pile. It is easier for me to pick up the iPad than it is opening a comic book...
 
Any suggestions on a good series to start with (SiFi Type genre would be nice). I just have no clue what to start with. I walk into the shops and there is just SO much there to pick (and I hate starting something midway).

What about something like Saga? They are about 16 issues in and all of it is available in trade paperbacks. Also, I'd recommend Black Science by Rick Remender (I had an AMA question answered by him, suck it internet).
 
Any of you caught up on The Walking Dead? New one released on Wednesday... It was a Biggy... "whistling:

Yeah. Comixology caters to a niche market and they do it well. Amazon will hopefully stick to Comixology's guns and continue doing that. There is a lot of money in digital comics and they are the only ones who are doing it right. CBZ and PDFs are not in the same league even.
 
OK list time again , what are you guys reading and how do you rate it .
I just got done with Xmen / battle of the atom run what s good on the DC front ?
 
Batman and All-Star Western are great. Just caught up with IDW's Judge Dredd too.

Still have the Wake and Trillium from Vertigo lined up.

Still need to hit Infinity and waiting on a backorder of Wolverine and the X-Men #39 to complete my run.

Oh, Green Arrow is also good.

I much prefer self contained series keeps me interested , once I have to jump books or books I don't have I lose interest
I have dropped plenty because of those , On a side note I have to get me a copy of Deadpool 27 that there will be worth a lot in years to come .
