Anyone else playing it? I've had a few practice rounds against AI and it feels quite good. Not too dissimilar to that feeling I got when I played Generals for the first time.

So I am holding my reservations for this game. I have been a cnc player since red alert 1. So I know what makes a good cnc :)

Whatever you do do not upgrade to 8, doesn't work on 8 even with backwards comparability turned on. Only game I could not get working yet either... anyway men of war is scratching that itch for now.
 
Been waiting for this to come out since i heard its free to play and will have a single player campaign, wondering how good its going to be and whats going to be missing so you have to fork out cash in micro transactions.
 
I have the Alpha :) Have only played a few skirmishes against the AI and I have to admit....it didn't grab me as much as the first Generals did :(

I know its to different games but they still a RTS i still loved playing as GLA in C&C

Like saying Counter-Strike and Call of Duty are "different games" but still an FPS. They are still very very different in how they play out and liking the one does not mean liking the other.
